HELP UGANDA
In effort to help make the world a better place, not only has Plato's Closet Ft Collins and Cheyenne gone bagless, but we will donate 5¢ for every bagless purchase to HELP UGANDA Primary Schools helping children in Uganda who are less fortunate to have free schooling, electricity or even running water - luxuries we all take for granted daily. Each cent goes towards building a better future for these children through education funded by HELP UGANDA. Both stores will also have donation jars at each register for any donations that would be greatly appreciated.
Along with our green efforts by going bagless, we have began selling Bigger Than Beads handmade jewelry, creating hope from paper. Each necklace and bracelet is made from 100% recycled paper and benefits the village of Masese, Uganda. Please watch the video below we filmed and made from our trip to Uganda to learn more about how this gorgeous jewelry can save a life.

We're so proud of our community in Colorado. We accepted donations at Plato's Closet Boulder, Cheyenne, Colorado Springs, Ft Collins, Littleton, Lonetree and Aurora to aid Red Cross and Care and Share for those affected by the fires in Colorado and together we raised $4,384. If you would still like to donate, you may go to Red Cross and/or Care and Share.

Plato's Closet Cheyenne is excited to support an amazing new non-profit to help teens in our community through Alternative Arts Project. We're proud to have provided them with their initial purchase of 20 guitars for their after school program at McCormick Jr High.
